But, my major reasons for choosing not to use animal products are much more common-sense: once I started learning where our food comes from, I felt I could no longer eat meat with a clear conscience.

Her post about agave nectar was great fun to read. We all know it’s worthless, yet we are happy to be eating something other than sugar, and we will pay almost anything to do it. The joke is on us.
